At Richmond Secondary School we have embraced the Ministry of Education's Core Competencies and made connections with the I.B. Learner Profile as we focus on helping all of our students understand and develop the attributes and competencies that will allow them to learn, grow and succeed now, and in whatever future path they choose to pursue. Indeed, over the past few years we have examined the Core Competencies and the ten attributes in the I.B. Learner Profile and created, revised and produced a Richmond Secondary School Learner Profile.

Our core purpose is reflected in the RHS Learner Profile as we strive to develop responsible, caring, reflective and resilient young people who can think and communicate effectively.
