The Richmond Secondary School Alumni Association was formed in 1988 by a group of interested former students and staff during the 60th anniversary celebrations of the school. For three decades the RHS Alumni Association has donated over $730,000 to the school in scholarships, new equipment, computer technology and learning resources to support the library, Colts athletics, arts, theatre and special programs, events and projects. The Alumni Association is open to all former RHS grads and staff and serves to help reconnect old classmates and friends, help promote reunions and to support ongoing excellence at Richmond Secondary School - Home of the Colts!  

The RSS Alumni executive meet about once a month and the school and hosts an annual general meeting (AGM) every April, along with a luncheon in the school.
