As part of our scanning process in the 2016-2017 year, we created a simple online survey and invited all RHS parents to take a few minutes to answer questions on "what are their hopes and dreams for their teen during high school?" and "what skills or competencies will your teen need for the future?"  On November 8, 2017 our Parent Advisory Council reviewed our "Learning Focus" for the year and heard an overview of the BC Core Competencies and the IB Learner Profile. Parents at the meeting were given a two-page document summarizing our work. Parents were asked to read the document and the information under OUR SCHOOL STORY on the school website and later, respond to three questions and submit this to the principal.
