While we met regularly with almost 20 students and a staff committee of six, we are mindful that 100 staff work at our school and they are all very busy. We did our best to keep staff updated on our work at a Pro-D session, at Educational Facilitator meetings and we shared an update with all at the June staff meeting. We emphasized that this was a process and our work would remain in "draft form" only until we felt we had enough interest to make this something all staff would support and actually use with students. We were explicit in making the connection to the IB Learner Profile initially, and even moreso with the ongoing integration and student self-assessment of the Core Competencies across all curricular areas.  

Our "draft poster" was shared with staff in June as well.  We also welcomed interested staff to speak with us, join our group or invite us to speak with one or more of their classes.

This will be an ongoing development process as we do not want to create yet another poster to put up on the walls of the school that means very little to most students and staff.
