Deadlines can be as early as December. Upcoming Events: 

OCT 21/24 - Representatives from 16 Post Secondary Institutions from B.C will be here on The event will begin after school at 3:00 until 4:30 pm and take place in the Multi-Purpose room.  If you're in grade 11 and 12, be sure to attend this informative event.  This is your opportunity to ask your questions about their programs and admission requirements and any other Post Secondary related questions. 

OCT 26/24 Study and Go Abroad Fair, Vancouver Convention Centre

Fair: 1 – 5 pm
Seminars: 12 – 5 pm

At the Study and Go Abroad Fair, you can meet your EducationUSA adviser and up to 16 U.S. universities. The Study and Go Abroad and SchoolFinder Fairs are coming together to offer you even more study options. Check out the Canadian pavilion for local and out-of-province universities and colleges. Explore the International pavilion to meet with institutions from around the world, including the UK, US, Australia, Switzerland, France etc. Don’t forget to visit the Travel Zone for work abroad, internships, immersive language travel and volunteering. Come with your questions and be ready to explore your options! OCT 28/24  Queens University Information Session - A representative will be at RHS to connect with our grade 12 (11) students about the application process and their programs.  This will take place in the school library after school - 3:15 - 4:00 pm. 

November 18th - SFU - Information Session - A representative from SFU's business school will be at RHS to conduct a presentation about their program.  SFU Beedie is consistently ranked among the Top 100 business schools globally for research output. This session will take place in the library during lunch. 

 

November 19th, 2024 from 7:30 - 9:00 pm - UBC Business Fundamentals Workshop -  The purpose of this event is to help students interested in the Sauder School of Business solidify their decision by experiencing Sauder course material. This is an excellent opportunity to learn business fundamentals from well-established Career Peer Advisors and Teaching Assistants.  Location: Zoom

UBC Women in Engineering (WiE) is holding a mentorship program for high school girls* with an interest in engineering! This program will run from November 2024 to April 2025, and is focused on helping students in grades 10-12 to:

  • Learn more about engineering and the various opportunities it offers

  • Resolve inquiries about university applications through connecting with upper year students

  • Receive guidance on the transition from high school to university

  • Connect with current engineering students and learn from their experiences

  • Explore different ways to get involved at university

  • Join in on WiE events (eg. professional development workshops, design team presentations, etc)
