Engaging Students

During the fall, we have been engaging students specifically via teacher-led activites with whole classes and with a separate student focus group. For students, the some of the driving questions were: What is the purpose of school? What makes us Colts? What are the qualities that unite us at our school? What are the qualities of a successful student? What are the qualities of a successful person? Students enjoy thinking about and discussing what the attributes of a successful person are and what they will need to thrive, now and in the future.  The focus group has also examined the BC Core Competencies, the IB Learner Profile and the draft of the new Richmond School District mission, vision and values statements.
