It has been a busy start to the school year, and it is wonderful to see students and classes already settling into a rhythm of teaching and learning.

1. A Message from the Parent Advisory Council (PAC)
RSS PAC Meeting – September 16, 2026 at 6:30 p.m.
Join us in person in the Library Learning Commons (LLC) for the first RSS PAC meeting of the 2026–2027 school year.
The RSS Administrative Team will share key school updates, with information that will be particularly helpful for families who are new to RSS. Light refreshments will be served.
PAC meetings are a great opportunity to stay informed, connect with other families, and hear directly from the RSS team about what is happening at the school.

2. Teacher Collaboration Morning – September 16
Our first Teacher Collaboration morning is this Wednesday, September 16, from 8:30–9:30 a.m. There are no classes during this time.
On Collaboration mornings, students arrive one hour later than their regular start time and should report to their first class, be seated, and be ready for learning by 9:35 a.m.
Teacher Collaboration occurs once a month and provides teachers with dedicated time to work together on teaching and learning in support of our students.

3. Meet the Teacher – September 17
We will host our Meet the Teacher evening on Thursday, September 17.
Parents and caregivers are asked to meet in the Large Gym by 6:30 p.m., where you will be welcomed by Principal Mrs. Savory and Vice Principals Mr. Leung and Ms. Goulas.

4. Personal Learning Time (PLT)
Personal Learning Time (PLT) begins this week, gradually introduced through a series of “training weeks.”
