If you're wondering about how you can start your Post Secondary applications, you might want to continue reading. UBC, SFU, UVic opened up their application portal on October 1st. Deadlines can be as early as December 1st. (This early deadline applies for UBCs Presidential Scholars, SFU's Scholars Entrance Awards). University of Toronto - Application Update Now that the application deadline on January 15 has passed, and that you have (hopefully) submitted your application, you can breathe a sigh of relief. A few days after you submit your application, you will receive an acknowledgement email with instructions on how to access the Join U of T applicant portal. Find information on how applications are assessed here. Once you have access to the applicant portal, you should begin submitting required documents and completing supplementary steps. We strongly encourage applicants to complete next steps well before our deadlines. See all of our important applications dates here. |
Admission decisions |

Admission decisions will be released in rounds monthly starting in late January through to late May—and into the summer depending on the applicant. Not all program areas will release admission decisions in all rounds of admission. Also, multiple applications are considered independently, so you may receive admission decisions at different times if you have more than one application to U of T. |
Jan. 29/25 - Simon Fraser University - "Applicant" online workshop - Join this virtual workshop specifically designed to help BC high school students complete their applications for Fall 2025 admission. They'll cover admission requirements, how to self-report your grades, important dates, and address topics and frequently asked questions from BC applicants.
Time: 6:00 - 7:00 pm
Jan 23/25 from 6 to 8pm - Corpus Christie College - Attention Grade 12 Canadian Students! Corpus Christie is hosting a Future Leaders Night for students who demonstrate leadership qualities, want to make a difference and believe in service and social justice. Students will have a chance to learn about Corpus Christie's award-winning INSPIRE Leadership Certificate Program, hear student success stories by Alumni and current scholarship recipients and receive insider tips on their top scholarships. This workshop is free.
