At our December staff meeting, our principal facilitated a presentation and discussion on the construct of "resiliency". A PowerPoint slideshow was used and shared with interested staff after the meeting. As our stated purpose is to "develop responsible, caring, reflective and resilient young people who can think and communicate effectively", as a staff, we have a key role in developing these attributes. Resiliency is a complex attribute, but it can be developed and strengthened in all people and staff awareness can help immensely.
