Vancouver Coastal Health offers in-school immunizations to protect children against serious and life-

threatening infections. School clinics provide a convenient way for children to receive recommended

vaccines. Immunizations are offered in grades 6 and 9 to all students, and to kindergarten students who

have not already been immunized outside of school. Students in other grades may be invited for catch up

immunizations based on local capacity.

Immunizations are offered following consent provided by parents/guardians. Secondary school students

can also consent for their immunizations. New this year, in response to request from families, you can

complete the school immunization consent form online through the Provincial Digital E-Consent Portal.
