Dry After Grad (DAG) is a wonderful tradition at Richmond Secondary School that is organized each year for the graduating class by a dedicated parent committee. The purpose of DAG is to provide an inclusive, fun and alcohol and drug-free event for the all of the grads immediately after their formal Dinner & Dance and it is the "last celebration together" as a graduating class. Thanks to a dedicated group of parent volunteers, DAG 2018 was a fabulous grad event at RHS and our graduating students had a wonderful "last night together" as a class.
We are now planning for DAG 2019! While the celebration is most important for Grade 12 students and parents, DAG is open to all Richmond Secondary parents, from Grades 8 to 12. We need parents of younger students to participate, expecially Grade 10 and Grade 11 parents, to ensure that Dry After Grad will be sustained in the years ahead. DAG meets regularly throughout the year and we need parents to help. If you are willing to volunteer, to donate or to find out more about DAG, please come to our first meeting on Wednesday, September 12 at 7pm in the school library. If you have questions, want to get involved or make a donation, contact parent Rhonda Smith at: firstname.lastname@example.org
