At RHS we work to build and foster a culture of encompassing people of different races, ethnicities, abilities, genders, religions, and sexual orientations.  Everyone belongs.  Everyone is welcome.  Our students and staff are proud of who they are and where they come from.  They celebrate diversity by sharing their own groups' culture (beliefs, values, norms, behaviours) and by promoting engagement with others.  RHS students and staff have contributed to our diverse community this school year through multiple school-wide events and activities:  Japan Fair, Unity Club Reunion, Lunar New Year, Ramadan Fast-a-Thon, Culture Day, Mandarin Singing Contest, RSS National Indigenous Peoples Day Celebration, Cantonese Fair.  In addition, we have our longstanding inclusive RSS groups:
