Terry Fox Run Fundraiser

Richmond Secondary School has had a long proud tradition of honouring a great Canadian hero by participating in the Terry Fox Run.  Terry Fox was an 18-year old student at SFU when he lost his leg to cancer.  He decided to raise awareness and funds by running across Canada on one leg. His Marathon of Hope covered over 3000 miles when the cancer returned. Terry Fox passed away at the age of 22, yet his remarkable story continues to inspire Canada and the world.

We will host our traditional run once again on Monday, September 26.  Our PE 10 Leadership students are continuing this important and proud RHS Colts tradition to fundraise for the Terry Fox Foundation in support of ongoing cancer research.  Learn more at:

Please support our Toonie Drive and Raffle Prize Draw for coveted RHS swag items including hoodies, bags, and hats.  Leadership students will collect donations in block A classes, and raffle tickets can be purchased at lunch in the foyer.
