Welcome Back! (Posted on August 30, 2010)

On Tuesday, September 7, 2010,
(The first day of the 10/11 school year)

8:45 a.m. – Grade 8 students please report to the Large Gym for their welcome by their Colt Connections mentor.

11:00 a.m. – Grade 8 students will be taken to their new Advisory/Homeroom classes to receive their schedules, lockers and locks.

12:00 noon – Grade 8 students will be dismissed.

11:00 a.m. – Grade 9 & 10 students please report to Advisory/Homeroom classes to receive their schedules, lockers and locks.

1:00 p.m. – Grade 11 & 12 students please report to Advisory/Homeroom classes to receive their schedules, lockers and locks.

The first week:

Wednesday, September 8(Alternate Day 1) - 8:30 a.m.

Students will begin the day by attending their Advisory/Homeroom class to finish any left over back-to-school business. Following that, students will attend their Day 1 classes as per their schedule.

Thursday, September 9 (Day 2) and Friday, September 10 (Day 1)

Students will attend their Day 2 (Thursday) or Day 1 (Friday) classes as per their schedule. We will have a regular Advisory class on Thursday to review expectations, goals and to participate in team-building activities. On Friday, we will begin the day with a short Homeroom class.

Friday, September 10, 2010 will be School Picture Day. Information will be distributed in Advisory Classes during the first week of school.

We will likely have Grade Assemblies during this week for all Grades.
