On Monday, June 20 our Student Council with the help of student-leaders from many of our clubs, hosted the first annual Colt Carnival from noon until 3pm. The event featured yearbook signing and lots of live music and entertainment, carnival games, facepainting, temporary tattoos, a watermelon eating contest, a cake walk, inflatable bungee run and classic carnival treats like hotdogs, cotton candy and popcorn. A big hit was the opportunity to soak students, teachers and our principal in the dunk tank. Judging by the hundreds of students laughing and enjoying the day, the Colt Carnival was a huge success and a tremendous community building event at our school. Thank you to our student leaders, staff who helped and to Ms. Chan and Mr. Chow for their leadership. A new Colts tradition has begun!
